Private cultural journey
About this Journey
This four-day journey combines Hong Kong's harbour, hillside viewpoints, fishing-village heritage, and southern coastline with a full-day excursion to Macau. Ferries and guided road transfers connect Victoria Peak, Aberdeen, Repulse Bay, the Ruins of St. Paul's, Senado Square, A-Ma Temple, and the Cotai district in one coherent route.

Hong Kong's harbour and hills shape the first half of the journey. After an easy arrival evening beside Victoria Harbour, a guided day links the Star Ferry, Victoria Peak, Aberdeen Fishing Village, Repulse Bay, and the southern coastline.

A high-speed ferry then connects Hong Kong with Macau for a day among the Ruins of St. Paul's, Mount Fortress, Senado Square, A-Ma Temple, and the Cotai district. The final morning remains light before the departure transfer.

Hong Kong’s harbour, hillside viewpoints, fishing-village heritage, and southern bays lead naturally into Macau’s Portuguese-Chinese historic centre, creating a four-day journey through two neighbouring regions with very different streetscapes.
Itinerary
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Hong Kong and walk beside Victoria Harbour
Meet the private transfer at Hong Kong International Airport or West Kowloon Station and continue to the hotel. After check-in, take time to settle and recover from the journey before the first evening walk.
Later, continue to the Victoria Harbour promenade for skyline views and the nightly Symphony of Lights. The easy waterfront route introduces Hong Kong Island and Kowloon without adding a demanding sightseeing programme to the arrival day.

Day 2: Star Ferry, Victoria Peak, Aberdeen and Repulse Bay
Cross Victoria Harbour by Star Ferry and continue to Victoria Peak on the historic Peak Tram. Sky Terrace 428 provides a wide view over the harbour and surrounding hills before the route travels south toward Hong Kong Island's older maritime communities.
At Aberdeen, take a sampan through the sheltered harbour and observe fishing boats, waterfront markets, and the remains of a water-based way of life. Finish with a coastal walk at Repulse Bay before returning to the hotel in the afternoon.

Day 3: Macau historic centre, A-Ma Temple and Cotai
Take the morning high-speed ferry from Hong Kong to Macau and begin at the Ruins of St. Paul's. Walk to Mount Fortress for views across the old city, then continue through the lanes and Portuguese-style façades around Senado Square.
Visit A-Ma Temple to learn about Macau's maritime traditions and the worship of Mazu, then cross to Cotai to see the scale and architecture of the modern resort district, including the public areas of the Venetian Macao. Return by ferry to Hong Kong in the evening.

Day 4: Depart Hong Kong
Enjoy a light final morning close to the hotel, with enough time for breakfast, packing, and check-out. The schedule avoids adding a distant attraction that could make the departure transfer uncertain.
At the agreed time, meet the private vehicle and continue to Hong Kong International Airport or West Kowloon Station. Pickup is arranged around the confirmed flight or train so there is sufficient time for check-in and departure formalities.
