Private day trip
About this Journey
See Guangzhou's old and new city in one full day. Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, Yuexiu Park, the Nanyue King Museum, Shamian Island, Huacheng Square, and the Canton Tower skyline create a fixed route from Lingnan heritage and ancient archaeology to the modern Pearl River cityscape.

The morning explores Guangzhou's older cultural foundations at Chen Clan Ancestral Hall and Yuexiu Park, where carved architecture, the Five Rams, surviving city walls, and the Sun Yat-sen Monument introduce Lingnan history.

After lunch, the route continues through the Nanyue King Museum and the shaded colonial-era streets of Shamian Island before finishing in the modern Huacheng Square district beneath Canton Tower. The day moves chronologically from ancient Guangzhou to the twenty-first-century skyline.

The day moves from ancestral halls and ancient archaeology through Shamian’s historic streets to Huacheng Square and the Canton Tower skyline, tracing Guangzhou’s transformation along the Pearl River.
