Day 1: Li River Cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo
Leave the Guilin hotel around 8:30 a.m. and travel by private vehicle to Zhujiang Pier. Board the Li River cruise around 9:30 a.m. for a four-hour journey through limestone peaks, bamboo-lined banks, fishing villages, and the river scenes that have made this landscape one of southern China's best known.
Learn about the formations and settlements along the river while the boat continues downstream. A simple onboard lunch is included, leaving time to remain on deck and watch the scenery change on the approach to Yangshuo.
After disembarking, walk through West Street, where traditional buildings, craft shops, cafés, and local businesses reflect Yangshuo's mix of village heritage and international influence.
Continue by bicycle through the Yulong River countryside, passing fields, water buffalo, karst hills, and historic villages. The ride follows a gentle rural route before meeting the vehicle for the return transfer to your Guilin hotel.
