Day 1: A Comprehensive Tour of the City’s Top Sights
Begin with a cruise across West Lake, passing willow-lined shores, historic pagodas, and Three Pools Mirroring the Moon. The cruise introduces the legends, poetry, and landscape design that have made the lake central to Hangzhou's identity.
Continue on foot through Huagang Guanyu, also known as Viewing Fish at Flower Harbor, before visiting Lingyin Temple and Feilai Peak. Explore the temple halls, Buddhist sculpture, and forested paths, then walk through the restored stone lanes of Amanfayun Village.
Pause for lunch at a local restaurant at your own expense, then travel to Meijiawu Tea Village. Walk among Longjing tea fields, learn how the leaves are cultivated and processed, and taste freshly brewed Dragon Well tea with an introduction to its role in local life.
