Private cultural journey
About this Journey
Winter reshapes Harbin, Yabuli, and China Snow Town into a route of illuminated ice architecture, snowy forests, wildlife encounters, and seasonal outdoor activities.

Three days in Harbin combine the city’s European-influenced streets with Ice and Snow World, Siberian Tiger Park, Harbin Polarland, a riverside winter carnival, and ice fishing.

The journey then continues to Yabuli for a forest train, outdoor hot spring, and reindeer encounter before crossing the snowy mountain landscape to China Snow Town.

This is a five-day winter itinerary ending in China Snow Town. Accommodation is arranged separately, and seasonal attractions remain subject to weather and their published operating programme.
Itinerary
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Harbin City Landmarks & Ice and Snow World
Begin on Central Street and continue to St. Sophia Cathedral, using the façades, squares, and street plan to understand Harbin’s Russian and European architectural influences. Visit the Chinese Eastern Railway Bridge and the Chinese Baroque Historic Block before the afternoon light fades.
Continue to Harbin Ice and Snow World, where large structures carved from ice are visible in daylight before the complex is illuminated after sunset. Walk through the main architectural displays and experience the seasonal ice attractions operating on the confirmed visit date.
Return to central Harbin after the illuminated visit, completing the first day among the city’s historic architecture and winter landmarks.

Day 2: Siberian Tiger Park & Harbin Polarland
Begin at Siberian Tiger Park and travel through the open enclosures in a protected sightseeing vehicle. Observe Siberian tigers roaming, resting, and interacting across the broad winter landscape while learning about the species and the park’s conservation work.
Continue to Harbin Polarland for the Polar Hall, Ocean Hall, and Exotic Pet Hall. Penguins, beluga whales, seals, marine life, and selected indoor animal presentations provide a warm contrast to Harbin’s outdoor winter attractions.
Return to central Harbin after the confirmed indoor programme. The day follows these two wildlife attractions in sequence, with entry times arranged around their published hours.

Day 3: Jiangbei Ice and Snow Carnival & Ice Fishing
Travel to the riverside Jiangbei Ice and Snow Carnival for a morning on Harbin’s frozen landscape. Continue through its ice slides, snow tubing, ice bicycles, and traditional ice-sled areas beside the frozen river.
Continue to a frozen-lake setting for an introduction to Northeast China ice fishing. An instructor demonstrates how the opening is prepared, provides the necessary equipment, and guides first-time participants through the basic technique.
Finish by preparing and grilling the day’s catch as part of the confirmed activity. Return to Harbin after the winter programme, with any weather-related change handled under the Important notes.

Day 4: Yabuli Forest Train, Hot Spring & Reindeer Park
Leave Harbin and travel to Yabuli, then board the forest train for a gentle journey through snow-covered woodland. Frosted branches and quiet stretches of forest provide time to appreciate the winter landscape at a slower pace.
Continue to the outdoor forest hot spring, where warm pools sit within the snowy surroundings. The stop is paced to allow time to change, bathe, and rest after the road journey.
Finish at Reindeer Park for a guided close-range encounter with the animals. Feeding and photography follow the park’s current welfare instructions before the day ends in Yabuli.

Day 5: Datudingzi Mountain, Ice and Snow Gallery & China Snow Town
Leave Yabuli and travel deeper into Heilongjiang’s winter landscape. Cross Datudingzi Mountain and the Ice and Snow Gallery by the specialised snow transport confirmed for the route, moving through rime-covered forest, deep snow, and broad mountain views.
Continue to China Snow Town, where heavy natural snowfall forms rounded roofs and narrow lanes lined with wooden houses and red lanterns. Walk through the village before dusk, then remain as lanterns and evening lights illuminate the snow-covered lanes and rooftops.
The five-day journey ends in China Snow Town after the evening visit. The final pickup and onward arrangement are confirmed together with the requested travel plan; accommodation is handled separately as stated in Important notes.
